Weekend woes.....

Ugh. It's the weekend. That means only one thing. Kyra will be horrendous. Are your kids good all week and then over the weekend, they misbehave? It's like everything just goes out the window. She doesn't want to be quiet. She's showing her sister numerous things that I'm sure Maeve will try over the next week, thus resulting in some form of injury. She doesn't listen. I've repeated myself so many times today and have gotten minimal results.

I'm tired. Is it 7:00 yet? ;)

Is it the lack of schedule/structure without school every day? I'm sure the reason Maeve is into so many things during the week is because Kyra isn't around to entertain her...I bet they just can't stand the excitement of being around each other for two full days!

Ack!

Gomer has taken up temper tantrums, if that's any consolation. Jessica can't get her to do anything.

Jen- Their schedule is pretty much the same time-wise, but like Krishna said, tonight that will change. Ugh. Their structure is different. I think they are so excited to play with each other that they BOTH end up getting in trouble. My house is a mess!

Krishna- I'll be in the same boat. These kids are so scheduled. We were at our old neighbor's house tonight and they were BEGGING to leave. They wanted baths and bed. Kyra was almost falling asleep on the way home. We didn't get home till after 8 and it's now almost 9 and I still hear Maeve squawking in there. Kyra fell asleep as soon as she finished her prayer! LOL! Damn time change. Ugh.

I was telling mom that I think weekends at your house must be like a giant slumber party- in the girls' minds. It's like they haven't seen each other all week!

Gomer has an imaginary friend- Goofy. She's been watching alot of Disney Channel, lately. Tonight, she wouldn't go potty "No. I'm playing with Goofy." so Jessica joined in the "game" and said Goofy could go potty, too.

So, there's Gomer, sitting on the toilet, kicking her panties down around her ankles screaming "SEE MY PANTIES, GOOFY?!"

I cannot believe that Gomer is talking that much! She sounds lightyears ahead of her time! Maeve is happy with a bunch of babbling right now and just about 20 words or so! LOL!

Jessica and Aaron are in for a long ride!
