I went to Walmart today and did a little shopping. Imagine my surprise when I come across this little dude. It's Teddy Ruxpin! He was *the thing* to have in the mid-80s. I know that because my cousin Megan got one for Christmas one year. Teddy Ruxpin started a trend of many, many talking dolls. He's like the "granddaddy" of them all.
But Teddy Ruxpin's price tag hasn't decreased in value at all. He's $68.84 at Walmart. Yeah, he's all fancy now with books and software too. Shoot, I bet you can get him cheaper than that on Ebay. LOL!

A neighbor boy of mine had one- he refused to let anyone play with it. I'm glad to see it's still around. I was afraid the recent "TJ Bearytales" was this generation's replacement.
