Maeve is now 14 months and oh is she a stinker! Kyra was never into this much trouble! My house is a wreck and it's no use cleaning it because Miss Maeve will wreak havoc on it again in no time.
She's into cabinets, reaching on top of tables, reaching on top of countertops, opening drawers, into trashcans (yuck!), trying to climb out of her crib (you should see her try to hike her leg over!), and trying to climb onto furniture. I absolutely cannot keep up with her and breathe a sigh of relief when she finally goes to bed.
She's still taking 2 naps a day....probably because she just wears herself out.
She's gotten very picky in the eating department and her appetite has slowed waaaay down (as the doctor said it would at her 1 year appt.).
She says, "Dada" or "Daddy", "Mama", "Yeah", and "Night, Night". When she sees Mia or you tell her, "Doggy", she pants like a dog! LOL! She loves to play with Kyra, but she's also a bully and loves to take things away from Kyra!
She's walking everywhere.....almost running in fact (some of you will see this on Tuesday). She is very vocal....babbling all day long and even screaming at times (my ears!). She does not like to sit still or cuddle with mommy anymore at all. *sigh* She wants to be put DOWN.
Some things that make her really mad are mommy leaving the house without her, daddy walking out the back door without her, taking away anything that she's not supposed to have, and closing doors so that she can't go into certain rooms (she bangs on the door as if someone's in there! LOL!).
So you see, I have my hands full these days. Maeve and Kyra are like night and day. It's so hard to be tough on a cute little girl with the bluest of eyes and the blondest of hair. Ugh. Richard and I both struggle with that. She's so adorable and melts our hearts!

Really Chelle? Was he that bad? Please tell me that he's a little angel now! I want there to be hope for me yet!
